A metal detecting and camping event on the Eastern Shore of Virginia
March 28th, 29th and 30th 2025
Welcome to “A Shore Thing” Presented by Gone Diggin. For this hunt we travel to the beautiful eastern shore of Virginia for a camp out dig! This 3 day event will feature 2 nights of camping on 130 acres of historic farm land woods. For this hunt we focus on early colonial history and hope to uncover relics related to the first settlers of the United States. This small group hunt is sure to be the hunt of the year and a true experience with special guests and learning from true professionals.
Date- March 28th, 29th and 30th of 2025
Friday
- 10am to 2pm Camp Set up
- 12pm Lunch Provided on site
- 2-5 Beach Hunt on a small local Beach
- 6-8 Meet and Greet at Cape Charles Brewery
- 8-10 Camp Fire Education
- 10:30ish lights out
Saturday
- 7am Breakfast provided on site
- 8am to 5pm Hunt
- 12pm Lunch provided on site
- 6pm to 7pm Dinner provided on site
- 8-10 Camp Fire Education/ Story time
- 10:30ish lights out
Sunday
- 7am Breakfast provided
- 8am to 5pm Hunt
- 12pm Lunch provided on site
- 2pm to 5pm Break Camp
